This is a magnificent pendant.  Crafted in 15ct gold (marked 15ct Gold on its reverse) it features a shimmering amethyst of approximately 12ct, surrounded by 22 lustrious and well matched seed pearls.  The main cluster is topped by a stunning bow, (which in Victorian times, symbolised a loving bond, such as marriage) adorned  by another 15 white seed pearls.

This stunning piece of history, dated to the late 1800s measures 3.9cm x 1.7cm and weighs 5.04g.

Amethysts have been viewed through the ages as a stone of peace.  Some believe the calming presence of the stone produces soothing dreams. Amethysts have also been thought to have protective, healing, and purifying powers.

This regal pendant is in excellent condition and is ready to wear on a gold chain.
